Who the Hell are these guys?

Well, I’ll tell ya.

They’re a bunch of fellas who started out pickin’ on front porches and singin’ ‘til the neighbors either joined in or called the cops. Frontman Sean Daniels leads this pack. And those good citizens he runs with? Well, they’re a damn powerhouse.

Sean Daniels

Sean picked up the violin at five years old ‘cause his mama said so, but it wasn’t ‘til 23 that fate — and a little bit of trouble — steered him into bluegrass.

He brings a record full of felonies, an encyclopedic knowledge of pork and chicken recipes, and a love of wood-shippin’ products most bands don’t brag about. What he’s been accused of is public record — and, for the record, they’ve already written two songs about it.

When he’s not leadin’ the charge with that fiddle, Sean’s probably sharpenin’ knives, fermentin’ somethin’ questionable, or answerin’ to his outlaw nickname, Scratch — for reasons both unexplained and painfully obvious.

Steve Sebastian

Steve’s been pickin’ the mandolin for about five years, mostly tryin’ to keep up with kids at bluegrass jams who somehow have faster fingers. That little eight-string rascal listens about as well as he does, and that’s sayin’ something.

He’s the wild card of the band — part mischief, part heart. Offstage, he’s a proud husband and dad who finds peace near the water or out in the woods, fishin’, hikin’, or just breathin’ in that salt-and-pine air.

When he’s not playin’, he’s workin’ toward his nursing degree — steady, patient, and full of heart. His story’s one of grit and redemption, a man who’s walked through the fire, lost good folks along the way, and still came out singin’.

Shane Sankey

Shane grew up watchin’ his old man play guitar, dreamin’ of the day he’d have one of his own. A high school guitar class kicked things off, and before long he was crankin’ out Pink Floyd and Zeppelin riffs. These days, it’s all about his Martin — pickin’ bluegrass with the boys.

When he’s not playin’, you’ll find him buildin’ decks across South Jersey, where he’s earned the nickname “Rail Master.” Off the clock, he’s usually cookin’ up somethin’ at home or hollerin’ at the TV while the Eagles bring one home.

Go Birds.

Matt O'Neil

Matt’s been playin’ bass for over two decades, but it was a borrowed upright named Betsy under a big oak in New Haven, Connecticut that changed everything.

He’s got a lifelong love of all kinds of music, and Betsy is what pulled him deeper — chasin’ ways to make thoughtful basslines feel right at home in bluegrass. Offstage, he’s a foreman carpenter, a builder through and through.

He’s spent years turnin’ lumber into somethin’ built to last — teachin’ the craft, raisin’ up garden boxes, festival stages, and commercial spaces you could wander through for days.
